What screen resolution do you use? 800x600, 1024x768?

Wow! Doesn't that make everything really small?

A few things, but very few. Most can be handled by making some changes in Windows Xp settings.
1600x1200 is the native resolution of my 20.1" lcd monitor.

I was just wondering because it appears that most websites are made for 800x600 to fill the screen. 1024x768 looks ok excpet most have excess space on either side. I was basically wondering what resolution website creators intended their sites to be viewed at, such as the RTS website. I've always used 800x600.

I checked with my friends at Tower29.com, a web design firm, and they said that generally 800x600 is the screen size most designers are using for their web sites. Some are starting to use 1024x760 but not many yet.

Thanks, Dave. From what I gather, sites should be made for 800x600 because they can be viewed in higher ones - just smaller. If you reverse that, you will have to scroll right and down more. Thanks for the info.
