This is not the type of movie that will do much business in my town so I gladly passed on it. BV is taking it on the chin this year.

I think the one analyst said it is targeted at a small % of movie goers so we passed on it too.

Srek died so we picked up Dodgeball for a short run and it is way under performing what I thought it would even though I did not open on the break I thought it would have some legs.

Not do'n too bad here considering we're just coming off the holiday weekend and most people are back at work. I think it should pick up quite a bit this weekend.

I also picked up Dodgeball this past week and it did nothing. So, I opened The Notebook this weekend. It can't possibly do worse than Terminal and Dodgeball, can it??

Notebook is one that will build on good word of mouth. It won't do much out of the gate, but It grew 10% this week over last for me, a rarity these days. It's doing very well weekdays since the older folk are the ones coming to see it.
