What's your thoughts on Willy Wonka versus other movies such as Fantastic Four and War of the Worlds?

Preface this, I'm looking from a small town aspect.
Willy Wonka scares me. Tim Burton tends to go too much over the top. The trailer doesn't do much to lessen my fears. However, Mr Depp could possibly save it.

I think Speilbergs lost it. He needs to move in with Lucas. He lost the child like wonder he once had. Since then it's been down hill.

Fantastic Four will be a 10 day wonder. No one outside of the comic book geeks will care.

I think summer will be over after Memorial day's release's play out.

I agree for the most part. This summer looks weak and as bad as March and April have been, I am wondering if anyone cares about any movie this summer.

I am in a small town also and am afraid of Willy, Johnny and Tim Burton. Where's the appeal?

I think Madagascar, War of the Worlds and Star Wars are the only must play movies this summer.

In my town, comedy "usually" reigns supreme.

Kicking and Screaming.
Madagascar
Longest Yard
Bewitched
Wedding Crashers
Bad News Bears (maybe)
I had two hits this spring..Hitch and Pacifier.
