Anybody know the difference between a "DO" version of King Kong and a "Regular" version?

I had to deal with a potential disaster when the studio sent me eight "DO" reels and one Reel #8 regular version. The studio kept telling me I was mistaken, but in the end, they were wrong. Fortunately, they sent me another #8 reel in "DO". Apparently, "DO" stands for Digital Original. Have any of you received "DO" versions before?

Not here. Nice to know that DO stands for Digital Original. I was thinking it stood for Do Over.

Do Over refers to 2005.

King Kong = dud here so far. Not as good as expected nationwide either.

The #1 comment about the movie wasn;t about the special affects or how good it was but "It was too long". Doh.

Don't get your panties in a wad just yet. Smile
The week before Christmas has never been a big movie going week. We won't know the outcome of Kong until the day after Christmas, when the movie going really takes off this time of year.

Did you happen to venture out of your theatre to take a look at the traffic near a mall this weekend. YIKES! Eek We're lucky to have had as good a weekend as we did.

LOL! What's a mall? I thought working at a theatre required me to be there 24/7. Roll Eyes

Gee Jason, you really do need to get out more often, your theatre is in a MALL. You know, one of those enclosed hallways with stores on each side. Wink

Ok, it's official. Kong has tanked and is a dud. In us small towns anyway.

So what went wrong? Was it just a carry-over from the rest of the year? How can it be stopped?

quote:
If Kong doesn't perform at least above average for all of us, then it's time we hang it up and all go get a real job

Now what?

Narnia is still kicking butt here! Hate to get rid of it, but it's time for something new. Kong never really took off...too much hype and the ape was gone after about three weeks.
