Just curious if anyone on here has tried the new LTI Helios lamps, if so, how well have they performed and did you notice any difference in picture quality? They claim that they are 30% brighter than standard lamps of the same wattage.

I'm using a LTI 2000w lamp. Not sure of its Helio.

They just debuted these back in October according to their press release on their website www.ltilamps.com . By the image they have the lamps have are more eliptical quartz envelop instead of the more common round version.
